We had a good Thanksgiving...a trip to visit my parents beforehand, when Zeke got to meet a few members of the extended family. We had Thanksgiving dinner with Shane's two sisters and their families. And, Zeke got to make his first trip to Chuck E. Cheese! He loved that. Now, it's back to the "grind..." Today we spent over an hour at the Social Security Administration applying for Zeke's SS card. Now it's done... Here are some pictures.

an update
Yesterday was Zeke's appointment with the doctor. This was on a Tuesday since the doctor and crew were not in Friday. He got his 14th cast, which is supposed to stay on 2 and a half weeks. HA! Anyone who has seen Zeke's cast after one week would understand why this is not likely to happen. And this particular cast has already stated to fall apart in a big way. This disproves my theory that the white fiberglass lasts longer than the other colors. And it lends credence to the theory that it really depends on the application of the cast. I suppose it might be normal to obsess over casts seeing that my son has been in one for 15 weeks now. Ugh. And he's really been a trooper. Zeke's foot hasn't changed much lately. The doctor is ready to schedule the surgery for his tenotomy (where they clip the achilles tendon in order to allow it to lengthen). He also will do a plantar fascia release to allow the bones in his arch come down. OK That's not really technical language there,I know. The surgery may take place sometime in December, depending on the doctor's schedule, which isn't nailed down yet.
