A Step Back...

Yesterday, Zeke had an unscheduled visit to his doctor. Unfortunately, his heel cord is tightening up again, so it was back into a cast for him. He was not pleased, to put it mildly. This cast is a short leg cast, which will allow him to walk on it and stretch his heel cord. However, that will not hold the foot turned out at the proper angle. So, he also must wear the shoes and bar 18 hours a day. They gave us a larger shoe to attach to the bar. It is pretty discouraging that his foot is relapsing so soon after the post-surgical cast was removed. Here are some pictures of Zeke in his new cast.
