Zeke is now out of his cast... well, sort of! He came home with a bivalve cast(I think that's what it's called). Basically, they took the cast from last week, taped up the sides so they weren't sharp, and attached velcro. Zeke will wear this when he's awake, except for many times a day when we have to take it off to stretch his foot, and have him practice walking. At night time, he'll wear the boots and the bar. Fortunately, SHane had planned to take the day off to come up to the doctor. Since the weather was bad, it was nice to have a chauffeur. :) Also, after the doctor, we headed over to another brace place to have Zeke fitted for an AFO (ankle foot orthotic). This will give support to Zeke's leg as he learns to walk correctly, and also will hopefully keep his foot from turning down again. Pshew! Busy day! Here are a couple pictures, but stay tuned, we may have a video later...

Zeke and Josh during the family Yhatzee game.

Now that he can bend his leg at the knee, Zeke's learning things like walking up the steps...
